Humanitarian
Community Equitable Development study in the South, theory and practice: These essays consist of papers written about Asheville, North Carolina using Citizen Diplomacy for conflict resolution, indigenous economic development in cities and the rural south in the Global African American Policy relations.
Public Service
Asheville Historic Resources Commission and Asheville Public Art Commission volunteer for three years.

African Urban Poverty Alleviation Program - A Sister Cities International Grant (Gates Foundation), using grass roots input to place 29 borehole wells in seven communities in Osogbo, Nigeria.

Sino African Initiative - A trilateral project between the US, Africa and China funded by Sister Cities International (Gates Foundation). The Project consisted of refurbishing Adelowo Primary Healthcare Clinic to WHO standards in Osogbo, Nigeria.
